Living Water Missionary Assembly began as a vision of Gary and Janice Grabow to establish a mission-minded, Bible teaching church with an expanding vision for family and community outreach.  The church was originally founded as non-denominational in 1976.

The Grabows and a small group of other believers began having meetings in the Grabow home located at 209 E. Longyear Street in Bessemer, Michigan.  By January of 1977, church meetings were being held in the Bessemer City Hall.  The Lord then led the church to a new meeting location on Curry Street in Ironwood.  After one year, Living Water found its present location at 236 S. Mansfield Street in Ironwood, where we have continued to grow in numbers and spiritual maturity.  The Lord has given the church this increase and guided us through many years of service in our community and surrounding areas.  Living Water became affiliated as an independent church with the International Ministerial Association (IMA) for pastoral accountability and fellowship with like-minded pastors and churches in the region.  In 1997, we believe the Lord gave Pastor Grabow and the elders direction and confirmation to began an expansion of the church building by adding a new sanctuary.  This wonderful new facility now enables us to further expand this ministry.
